FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the public and the news media that the Bertie County Board of Education will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 27, 2023, at 6:00 pm in the gymnasium at Aulander Elementary School, 2515 NC Hwy 305, Aulander, North Carolina. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comments from the public concerning the possible permanent closure of Aulander Elementary School effective after the end of the 2023-2024 school year.

Public Comment

The public comment portion of the meeting will be held as listed on the agenda.  All interested citizens are invited to appear and be heard. Public comments are limited to three minutes per person.
