7th Grade Social Studies

I enjoy teaching and coaching young people in Bertie County, playing the piano, listening to music during my free time, and spending quality time with family and friends. I enjoy watching the movies “Love & Basketball,” “Remember the Titans,” “Roots,” and “The Butler” as well as watching the television shows “Martin”, “Fresh Prince of Bel Air ”, and "Law and Order."   I am a fan of football; especially the Carolina Panthers and basketball, especially the UNC Tar Heels. My favorite subject is Social Studies and that is what I teach at BMS to 7th Grade students. I also serve as an Assistant Football Coach, Head Boys Basketball Coach and Head Boys Track Coach.

I am a 2010 Bertie High School Graduate and a 2016 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in University Studies and a Minor in History and Sociology.
