I believe, we cannot afford to despair over the inevitable, but make the most significant use of what we have.  All students can learn regardless of their socioeconomic status. We, the teachers, have the responsibility to teach all children without excuses.  Educators and parents should work together to ensure every child has a free and appropriate public education in a positive and inclusive school environment.  A person’s education is closely linked to their life chances, income, and well-being and is the key to breaking the barriers of oppression.  Education attainment corresponds to success because it has proven to remedy a desolate future.
