  • “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard” - Tim Notke

There are plenty of talented people in the world, but talent is not enough. My goal is to provide an environment where my students know if they work hard they can achieve anything that they want to achieve.

I graduated from Bertie STEM High School in 2014 and graduated from Barton College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotions.

My hobbies include playing slow-pitch softball, coaching, and traveling.

As a native of Aulander, I am honored to give back and work with my community. I always tell my students and myself to never give up, and as Babe Ruth once said, “It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up.”

I make learning engaging by having a positive environment where we have a variety of fun activities that get students to use teamwork and sportsmanship to achieve their goals.

My favorite things are my family, friends, and my dog.
