Educational Success for Students in Foster Care!

Students in foster care are entitled to remain at their school of origin if placed into foster care.

In order for the student to remain in their school of origin, it must be determined that it is in their best interest.

The best interest determination meeting is held with a team that is composed mainly of: parent/family, social services/case worker, public school transportation director, and public school foster care liaison from school and district lead.
